Eureka was 7-18 last year and played two D1 games. They lost to Western Illinois 92-56 and Eastern Illinois 85-39.

Took a look at their roster and they have a former South Brave on their squad, Amariyae Wilson. Their roster has like 30 players on it and not a single guy listed over 6-6.

I’m so glad this is our next game. Palate cleanser.
It would be nice to get a dominating win to "cleanse the palate" but I'm not sure it really helps us get better. Sadly, after watching that train wreck, we are much worse than I imagined. I do think we will be much much better by season's end but we will have zero chance in the mvc tournament because we would have to win 4 in 4 days. I guess atleast I know to not expect much of anything this year. Hoping we can keep the team together and that the best players don't jump ship and we have to start all over again. This style of offense will never work rebuilding every year.

I don't feel like it's really that dire.....feels realistic. I guess i went a little overboard saying we will have zero chance in the MVC tourny. I know it isn't mathmatically zero, probably about a 5% chance or so. I am not sure FAU is that great, they lost as much as we did last year and just got boatraced by Auburn last week. It will be great if they turn out to be really good, but I am afraid we just made them look really good. Probably time to realize until we can spend $500,000 plus a year in NIL, we won't be very good.

Met some really cool fans at the game last night. The two ladies who were roommates in the 70s, are STHers today, and go on road trips including STL every year were an absolute hoot.

Even though the game last night was one to forget, the trip to Xenia was still memorable because of the ISU fans you meet.

That's flippin' awesome.

Ok, so the board was pretty close to spot on with the starting lineups for game one

Now two days away, what is the prediction for game 2?

Even though I don’t agree with the call, I predict Graves sticks with same starting five from FAU game

I don't think we're really gonna know if we can be competitive in the Valley until we play Ball State on the 16th...that's our barometer game. We play well there...even if it's a loss....it might give us some hope.

Yeah, I can see that although I'd like to see at least Vorst swapped in at the 5. Let me see if he can hub the offense for those other 4 effectively.
