the title of this thread looks great. it'll be even better next week when we pull out a victory over UNI
 
I am really fired up for this game! This is the biggest test so far for the Panthers and it's Homecoming and hopefully the UNIdome will be sold out for this one. The Trees have a good shot at winning and it scares me more than a little. The key for the Panthers will be to contain Shakir. Force him to run inside and let our big uglies stop him. If he gets 200+ yards on Saturday, it may be a long day for UNI.
 
Already have plans to drive up from Davenport for this game. Pretty excited. It will be the biggest conference road game for ISU in years.

Last year they beat us..we had four lb's out right? anyway they are better...we are better....this is going to be a good game...uni is freaking good but at this point I don't think they will have what we haven't seen so far...we have played penn state..wku...I like what trent says about us knowing who we are and what we can do and that is all you can worry about....the unidome is a great atmoshphere for football...tell the boys to start hydrating now lol...you cramp up in .2 seconds there and it will be noisy...hope they got a silent count in the mix....ok I'll shut up...I think these coaches just might know what they are doing LOL....

We had four? I thought It was 3 but my memory is fuzzy...that game was hard for me to watch because of the build-up.
 
I expect them to concentrate their whole defensive game plan on stoping Bell, and I think they will.......then I think Mr. Fouch is going pick them apart.....then I expect a few big runs late in the game from Mr. Bell. I think teams are going to underestimate our passing game cause we hadn't had to use it extensively yet. Mr. Fouch can sling it. Big time players show up for big time games, and I think we are going to see why Mr. Fouch is one of the best qbs in the nation. With that said, my prediction. UNI 24....usi 21.............whoops I mean isu 24 UNI 21.

Thanks for posting that video Crowe. That just gave me the goosebumps. I am SO READY to beat this UNI team and take the next step to an MVFC title.

I will apologize in advance for the stream content then. We switched our service this year and it has not received positive reviews to date.

Our defense has always been about stopping the run first and forcing a team to go one dimensional. A lot easier to key on when you are only looking for a few things. We have a very experienced DL and LB corps this year (all 7 starters are seniors-with two on the Buck Buchanon watch list). I know Fouch is good, and I have confidence that the coaching staff is not overlooking him-but they will still be looking at run-first defense.
 
The Sycamores are currently bussing to UNI. Calvin Burnett posted on his facebook status. I thought they flew to games over 6 hours away?

I think they only can fly to one game per year, and that was last weekend. Probably a budget issue. Let's hope the team gets off to a better start than they did last weekend after the long trip!

Khan, I've heard about UNI's video streaming issues, I hope they're fixed by tomorrow.

Think the Dakota games are the only ones they fly to. UNI is about six to seven hours from Terre Haute. That's not that bad.
 
Any other Sycamore Vision people not able to get any video? Just gives me the loading symbol over and over.
