Great honor Jake, and you earned it.
We should also note the great fan rep who got a lot of camera time..don't know her but she
got the job done on the sideline. Get her some pom-poms.

I believe she is part of the Kitchel cartel. I will say this, the Kitchel clan travels well, and in great numbers to every Sycamore game they can get to. They love their Jake and the Trees!

You talking 'bout Grandma (?), or the cleavaged blonde "hottie" seated behind the ISU bench that was perpetually shadowed by the lil' girl w/ the ISU sign? That ESPN cameraman had to have been frustrated, after repeatedly failing to secure unobstructed video.:dunce:

I think that was Odum's grandmother they kept showing. At least I thought I had read that somewhere.

That's what I thought, but I'm not sure why. Maybe seen her at home games, and someone told me who she is.
Talk about getting much "airtime.?" She was awesome. At the time I figured she had to be a relative because she was obviously "intense." and emotional to boot. I was also thinking I had seen her at HC.

She use to sit in the student section at Terre Haute South games when the Odum brothers were mixing it up on the hardwood and they usually mixed it up - espeically when older Odum was around!!

Congrats to JO! How did Manny Arop NOT make the All-Tourney team? His numbers were argubly the same as JO's?
Like the team's fight in all three games but we've GOT to make more buckets!! 24% shooting?! Not going to get it done!

I think Arop was on the team until .06 left vs. Miami and then Odum took his place. It's as simple as that.

Very possible; so far, it looks like Manny is going to work out well for us!

Hope everyone is ready for big helping of Fried Deadbird for this week's Sunday dinner!

Yeah Manny Arop is a pretty damn good ball player. If he can continue to rebound and score like he has he is every bit as good as Carl Richard was for us. I wish we got to watch him for more than 2 years.

K. Smith is going to be a good ball player - has some work to do, but he is going to be pretty solid.

Haha... The two girls were Kitchel's sister (brunette) and his girlfriend (blonde)...There was a younger girl that got a lot of facetime at the arena as she had a couple quality signs and was very enthusiastic.... but the Sycamore Fan that stole the show at the arena was Kristian's younger brother Manny as he was dancing to Michael Jackson in the front row... won the crowd over - very nice family.

yup i believe that it was either going to be jake or manny on the team and jake won it on the last shot, both of them deserved it, but they weren't going to give us two selections. shooting 24% is pretty scary but it was the third game in four days so i'm guessing fatigue was a factor for both teams and it was also Christmas day, a lot of distractions too, i'm not to concerned about that. K. smith is going to be a very nice player for us for 4 years. very enthusiastic and hustles i like his style. what's his verticle? there has been 7 or 8 times this season where he just completely skys over everyone to get a rebound of dunk...i'm thinking we are gonna get some sportscenter top ten plays out of him throughout his career.

Thanx, 11 - glad someone saw the humor in the post! I never saw Manny "Moon Walk'n" to MJ - must've been cool. Maybe we can "book" him for some home games? How old is he?

Yeah and once Odum and Smith get on the same page watch out. In Miami game Odum thought Smith was going to go up for a dunk and threw him a lob and he never went up for it.

Smith thought Odum should have shot it. Announcer thought Odum should have shot it. Odum was thinking pass first as he often does. The announcer is out of the conversation as he thought Odum should try and score everytime down the floor. Once he and Smith get on the same page both will be better for it.
