Is Ndaw injured or not on campus yet? Curious as I don't think I've seen him in any of the short videos they've put out yet.

Golden reported the following on Sept. 16th:

“Lansing said ISU has been missing new center Ndongo Ndaw and the Sycamores did have one positive COVID-19 case, but that the team is currently COVID-free.”

No other details were provided.

Is he even going to play for us this year?

It would be nice for Golden to get clarification. I'd be curious if he is home in the Senegal and is possibly stuck in a travel ban or some other situation. I didn't think there were but a few places left on the US ban list so I doubt that is it but who knows.

Definitely would be nice to know his status. We could use another big. I hope we haven't wasted another scholarship on a guy whose never going to play for us.

Is LaRavia actually 2 inches taller? He said he added a “couple inches” to his height.

I also like the fact Lansing has him working on ball handling. Having your 4 be able to rebound the ball and start a fast break is a huge advantage.

Yeah, I caught that, too. He was listed at 6'8" on the roster last year and is listed at 6'9" now.
