Was playing hoops last night at Lifetime Fitness like I do pretty much every night and came down weird. No contact with anyone else and it was a simple movement and I felt a little tweek in my knee. I had already been experiencing increased soreness and some tightness on the outisde of the knee but once I got moving, it felt fine.

In Googling, I found iliotibial band syndrome. Could this be it? What is the recommended course of action?

if it's your IT band I believe it would be more tight in your upper hamstring...could be wrong though...
