Why does the NCAA want to screw with the tourney? (I know, its about money blah blah)

I think we will look back at this tourney as one of the all time best. Right before we add class basketball so everyone can say ....ooops I mean say they made the tourney.

100% agreed, I said this before I saw one shining moment a month ago when I heard they changed it... They messed up, this was an amazing tourney and that could have been so much better. Bring back Luther!

that's a good one. i know it takes $27 trillion dollars to fund all their championships


but look at it this way if dayton and north carolina had played in the ncaa tournament instead of the nit finals how much larger would the tv audience have been? now figure that in for all the nit games. there you have the 96 team formula.

if hayward would of made that shot, it would of been a reason why there is need to expansion. more mid majors make the tourney, and this years proved that there is more parody in mens basketball more than ever.

I don't know why anyone would be against expansion. what does it hurt? One more round for 64 teams to make sure the "best" 32 get in. There could be a lot of great matchups with the opportunity for a team to prove themselves.

it should either be all teams like high school and unseeded or conference champs only (conference tourneys would be outlawed)
