This looks like a totally different team. Some guys have gotten too selfish, looking out for #1. If something doesn't change in a hurry look for them to get swept in the playoffs.

It sure appears that way. Danny Granger was a popular player and the new guys show promise but something around Granger's trade time, went south. Bynum looks good too but still may get thrown into the fire pit on this as well. It looked so promising but appears to simply tensed up everyone and now they can't recover. Hope it doesn't get any worse. "Coasting" into the playoffs like they are is NOT the way you'd want it.

There are some serious issues and I've seen them fixed, for example, Scola's shooting sucks. He has not been good this year. BUT Lavoy Allen played two games and had some serious game from about 10 feet out from the rim, which is what scola does. George Hill, I know he defends well but his offensive game is gone, he hasn't been getting Assists or points. George Hill in my opinion is a great back up point guard but they need to bring in a point guard.

I think this bad play started before the all star break and has gradually gotten worse and I blame Vogel for letting it get this bad. He should have got in their ass right from the beginning with this lazy, selfish, careless play. Instead, he's made excuses and want's to be their friend. I'm afraid it's too late now to right this ship. I hope I'm wrong. I'm sick to death of watching Paul George go one on one and pull up for a 20' jump shot, with Lance standing in the corner pouting cause he didn't get the ball.

Stephenson has become a cancer, I saw this coming when he started doing those stupid celebrations earlier in the year. Vogel either is blind or doesn't know what to do. Slick Leonard would be kicking some butt and telling it like it is to the media, as does this article by Conrad Brunner.

Disagree. Lance plays hard and he is the most unselfish player on that team and its not even close.

He ummm, needs to stop with the show-mans-ship at times no doubt - we can agree on that.

But to suggest that Lance is the "Cancer" that has caused this team to falter is very unfair in my opinion.

Lance aint the problem I can assure of that. He needs to grow up and not be a side-show but the son-of-a-bitch plays hard every single night and the NBA can use some of that. If he plays hard he can act a little hyper from time to time - doesn't bother me. He's not TO or Randy Moss - just let him be himself!

Bad offense is the coaches fault....its downright painful to watch...and with PG, Hibbert, Lance....we should have more PPG....this is all on Vogel IMO

Pacers started drinking too much of their own koolaid. When they were running through their competition with relative ease they were playing with a chip on their shoulders because they felt disrespected. Now, they've probably received a little too much hype and notoriety and it's starting to go to their heads. They spend more time complaining to the refs than worrying about finishing plays and getting back on defense. They're starting to become not a very fun team to watch.

And, yes, Lance Stephenson is certainly all part of this problem. Playing hard and playing smart are two completely different things.

I don't think playing hard is enough to keep one in the rotation. There have been a number reports of Lance having arguments with a number team mates. When one's negativity exceeds the positives they bring to the team it is time to do something.

Something that really pissed me off last night was after the game Lance and Paul giving Bro hugs to the other team. I can't imagine Larry doing that back in the day after getting his ass kicked. I guess I'm just old school.

There might be a wee too much made of this, "slide." They're 6-4 in their last 10. Pump the breaks, everyone. Pump the breaks.

I really hope to see Lavoy Allen moved up into rotation and man I would LOVE to see Andrew Bynum be healthy enough to be the backup center. He is a beast when healthy.

I don't think so. They haven't played well for a couple months. I mean not good enough to win a championship.

For as bad as they've been, Pacers still have a chance to reclaim first place in the east tomorrow against Miami.

After the Pacers' win yesterday they again hold the top seed in the East. Win against Orlando Wednesday and they clinch. That or a Miami loss in one of its last two games and the Pacers still win the top seed. They control their own destiny though, as the cliche goes.

Heat are losing 90-58 at Wizards late third. Pacers might have just locked up the no. 1 in the East, assuming Miami doesn't pull off a miracle comeback. Guess Bosh and James are sitting the game out. Heat more worried about rest than home court.

Both the Pacers and Heat backed into the playoffs. Will be interesting to see if both can turn it on.

Raptors-Bulls ECF?
