Senior Jordan Pearson went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and all nine position starters for the Indiana State baseball team recorded at least one hit, leading the Sycamores to a 10-5 victory and a season sweep of the Purdue Boilermakers in front of 679 fans from Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium on Tuesday night.

Really gotta appreciate the "finer things" that ISU is doing in this "new era" of the DEAD BAT. Middle of Sycamore lineup (Kraemer-Pearson) stung the Boiler's pitching, and four (4) DP's compliments the "small ball" concept...pitchers keeping the ball down to help facilitate the "D." ISU's making contact (only 6 SO's in 35 AB), but gotta quit leaving those runners stranded (9 LOB's). Showing NO (0) SB's, I'd like to see the Sycamore's become a lil' more FEARLESS, pressuring the "D," which compliments "small ball." Can't complain about going 14/35 (.400) at the plate, however! It's slowly coming together...poise, boyz:chopwood:
