Amazing how some people navigate life...Wilkerson was stripped of the Mr. Basketball title when he quit the Indiana All-Star team after the first game with Kentucky. Anderson's 5'7" Kojak Fuller received the award and is the official recipient of record as Mr. Basketball for 1993. He ran into trouble in '97 for pointing a shotgun at two men and did a year in jail. He got 20 years in '99 for dealing drugs a thousand feet from Anderson High School. For Fuller and Charles Macon the '92 recipient, they had their problems after high school. At least for the record.

I also noted that...funny 'bout Patrick & Sherron being "teammates." Talk about stretching the truth...Knight & Lamar are obviously pulling all the strings they can grab hold of in an effort to "win."

Yeah, he was held in pretty high regard when he was coaching down in the Southern part of the state... I thought I read a lot of positive stuff on the Hoosier Hills Hoops forums before he left the area. Think he did AAU down there, too.

But yes, he will have some recruiting ties to the state and that is probably the biggest reason why Knight hired him.
