I understand when they did it last year but it is gettin ridiculous. I know it's something stupid to complain about but you dont pour it every game...Also, what the hell was the lil rap thing before the game started?

I dont see any problem with it at homecoming...most schools do something at Homecoming to their coach...we used confetti once in high school it was hillarious

Today was a big win for the Sycamores. It was our first MVFC win since last year. Now, we just need to pick up a win on the road, and a 2nd MVFC win.

Not crazy at all. Pass d is only area of concern at the moment but a great second half for them.

I think our pass D will be alright...cut out the penalties...matt brown is a very good QB and he is going to make plays period so it is how you handle those big plays when they happen......They are young and will continue to get better...That is a very good illinois state offense....

Well I have mixed feelings on it...First, we need to send a signal to Illinois State and anybody else watching that this is no suprise and we expect to win and we have more work to do....but since our past struggles were so bad and having the nation's longest losing streak at one time...this game was a very important game for the program...and they freaking beat the brakes off of illinois state....that game could have been uglier...we started to run the ball alot in the second half to eat the clock...if we tried to score...it could have been nasty...But...I don't mind it this time because of the margin of the win and what it means to a struggling program...the water being dumped wasn't about illinois state...it was about hard work paying off and facing adversity with money, stadium upgrades...and the whole country making fun of them...and them pulling together and becoming a heck of a football team...Remember...these guys (especially the seniors) been through a lot..

I had the same feeling at first about dousing the coaches--act like you've been there. However, for today, I'll give it to the players, it was like a big exhale on the sidelines--they were having fun for the first time in 3-4 years, beating a conference opponent that was fairly highly regarded. OK, so today was fine, but the next time I want to see it is if/when they make the playoffs.
