I concur. I was critical of Bradley on this deal early on but I'd like to take most of that back. Most of y'all defended him and I think most of y'all were spot on.

I was frustrated it didn't get done and was frustrated the way it played out in the media. Now I know why it worked out the way it did.

I defended him from square one...curious how many of you sent letters in support of Dr. Bradley's initiative to the IN State Budget Committee? Trust me, the letter I posted on Syc Pride wasn't my ONLY correspondence, aimed at painting a picture of TH/Vigo County govt. REALITY.

Bottom line, is that ISU still maintains FULL CONTROL of Hulman Center, with no threat of local "pay to play" contracts or "geeb" politics siphoning funds (i.e. Nation's Group $2m) from the heart of the project.

Gibson needs to get the $48k ($4k/mo) "last minute" lobby $$$ back from Rachel Leslie...perhaps molding a bronze statue of Pres. Bradley for taking the "high road" in the name of ISU Sports.
