Tickets are available for this game for $40 Lower Level and $25 Upper Level.

They're available on Conseco Fieldhouse website and also on TicketMaster.

I guess my question is....is there a way to buy tickets for this game and be in an ISU section?

Anyone know anything about this?

HULMAN CENTER ticket office, I am told. I have tried so far unsuccesfully to confirm this however. Usually the Alumni office handles them but apparently not this time.

They've really botched this IMO. You may as well go through ticketmaster to make sure you get your tickets.

Boda, you are DEAD ON on this. I was surprised when apparently the Alumni office was not handling the tickets. At least HC will have tickets in an ISU area. Putting our fans in a random location is not right, in my opinion. Especially in an 18,000+ seat arena. Hopefully buying them at HC can accomplish that.

I called them a couple weeks ago and they said they didn't know anything about an ISU block of tickets, they were just pulling from the system. If someone calls again soon, please post an update. I will try to call this week again as well.

Long time reader, first time poster.

This is exactly correct! As a season ticket holder we get tickets to this game included with our season tickets. Regardless of our ability to go to this game, we are being charged to go. This on top of only having two nonconference games at Hulman Center this year.

Also, after calling Hulman Center numerous times and being told nobody knew anything about tickets to this game, I was finally told that season ticket holders would be assigned seats at the game but they are not sure how. I was then told that they don't know if we can get more tickets in case other friends/alumni want to go to the game and/or sit in our section.

Also, nobody seems to know what is going to be done with unused tickets. For the sake of argument, assume 1,000 season tickets are sold. Doubtful more than half will be able to go to the Purdue game (even though they had no choice but to pay for them). So what about the "tickets sold" that won't be used? Will the ISU section be half empty at Conseco?

How can alums or fans in the Indy area get tickets? Do they buy through Conseco? Ticketmaster? Purdue? ISU? Emails went out from Conseco Fieldhouse saying tickets were available at Ticketmaster or through the Purdue box office. No mention of ISU. Who do alums call? Hulman Center? Athletic Dept?

This whole thing is a complete mess. The fact the this board is comprised of die hard fans and nobody here even knows is testament to that. The team and fans deserve better and to not be embarrassed when we get to the game and look like fools scattered among a huge Purdue fan base.

We would love to go to this game but have heard nothing of it here in Indy. You are correct, I've seen no information about how/where to get tickets.

I've got a little info...

I called Conseco Fieldhouse boxoffice....they said that all tickets (except for two sections) were sold to Purdue...and they also said that as of today only section 3 were still remaining.

I called Purdue....Purdue said that there were tickets being alloted to ISU fans and that those tickets were being sent to ISU tomorrow or the next day. I asked the rep how many tickets were being alloted and she said she didn't know.

I'm going to call ISU (I guess the Hulman Center box office, I really don't know who/where else to call)....tomorrow, the next day, and every day thereafter until the tickets are received from Purdue.

So that's the dealio.

One guy I can always count on in the AD's office is Darian Westerfield. His number is 812-237-3041. ([email protected]). If he doesn't know what the situation is, he will find out for you. As I have stated, I as a bit disappointed that the ticket distribution wasn't made easier. Hopefully you can avoid the Ticketmaster fee as well going thru the box office at HC. Keep us informed.

And one final thought. There is NO WAY that this game is even approaching a sellout at this point. The Purdue people are sleep-deprived or on crack or something. Even the Purdue-Butler game a few years back only sold 10K or so. The fact that ALL ISU season ticket holders are getting tickets means there HAS to be an ISU section somewhere. Not too sure how they (ISU) can't get seats in the appropriate section, wherever the hell it is.

For people who live in the Indy area, tickets are currently available at the Conseco Fieldhouse box office. If you're able to buy at the box office, no extra Ticketmaster charges apply.

That's probably stating the obvious for most of you and might not be of any help to out-of-towners or those who want to sit in a designated ISU section, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

If that's the case... then ISU didn't have any way of letting anyone know about the tickets - because Purdue was in charge of ISU's allotment?

Is Purdue the "home team" then?

Pretty sure Purdue is the 'home team' -- isn't this the 'boiler block bash' or something?

You asked for it ... You got it!

Tickets to the Purdue game are being included with the purchase of a Men’s Basketball Season Ticket.

If the Ticket holder maintains a seat location listed as Priority-I, Floor-II, Floor-I, or Courtside then they will receive a ticket complimentary as part of their season ticket package. If a season ticket holder has seats in a Non-Priority section (Mostly the upper level) then that season ticket holder will be given the option to purchase a ticket to the Purdue game. We will only allocate Purdue game tickets in the same number as tickets purchased. So if you have 4 Courtside seats in the Hulman Center, then you will receive 4 tickets to the Purdue game.

If someone is not a season ticket holder, they can put in a request to purchase tickets to the game by calling the Hulman Center Box office at (812) 237-3737. Or they can contact the Purdue ticket office at (765) 494-3194.

If people ask about the location of these tickets, they will be in the sections located behind our team bench in the lower level of Conseco Fieldhouse. Seat locations will be allocated based upon the Sycamore Varsity Club Priority Point system.

Thanks for paying attention. That will help as there IS some confusion.

Bought my tickets today. Call the Hulman Center...get tickets behind the ISU bench.

Looking forward to the game, big time!

Is Cliff back running the HC and "influencing" the ticket office? Need to clean house in there and put some new blood with new attitude in that position.
