Folks, the Indianapolis Alumni Club will be hosting a pregame event at the Morrison Opera House. The event, sponsored by Thompson Thrift, will be from 1:30 to 3:30 -- game tips at 4:05pm. I'm sure there will be some free goodies and the event will also let those interested learn more about the Indianapolis Alumni Club. Hope to see everyone there!

Its gonna be a good time! Everyone in Indy should come...you don't have to go to the game to come down and socialize.

How far is this from Conseco? Just curious - Do you have to be from Indy to attend? Do you have pre registration or just show up? Cost?

Thanks for the info. I will be in Indy for the game that night with 10 plus folks and am interested in finding out more. Thanks.
 
Morrison is a street away from Conseco. It's right next to the Hard Rock Cafe if you know where that is. To RSVP for this event please call 1-800-258-6478 or email [email protected]. The cost is pretty cheap -- it's FREE.

Cool - thanks for the info Jason! Would be nice if you could get a large group of alumni to attend. I will see if any of my alumni and fans want to go!

I would have to assume that something will go out to season ticket holders at some point. But regardless...Jason Svoboda will be there...so that means that his entire entourage will be there too! :)
 
If Boda is there, it's guaranteed to be a packed house. Trust me, this pre-game should be similar in stature to the Butler pre-games a Moe and Johnny's in years past. Lots of people you don't see often and lots you see all the time. That's a formula for a good time!

It looks as though you can also RSVP on Facebook by going to the Events tab on the ISU Alumni Association page. That said, I don't know for certain whether this qualifies as an official RSVP to the actual event.

I am pretty sure that it also qualifies...technically. reagardless it all boils down to them needing a number of people attending. I think it only holds around 300 people or so, that is the concern.
 
Pre-Game Reception

ISU Alumni Office reports reservations already exceed 300 ! This is going to be a REALLY BIG event and a GREAT TIME for all who attend !

By the way.....welcome aboard to Sycamore Pride! This WILL be a mega-event for Indiana State. Maybe 400 when all is said and done (and the Morrison capacity isn't that high) so it will be packed to the gills As I said last night, look for many friends you haven't seen for awhile and many friends you have. Sounds like a party to me! Time to support your TREES~
 
We will have a information concerning a very large alumni event taking place next summer in Indy. The Indy alumni club is sponsoring a Cornhole Tournament at the City Market, Downtown in June to raise money for a scholarship.
