Well, we shouldn't really mean anything to him. The only reason he might have heard of us is because we have the nation's longest losing streak and have one win in our last 50 games, but you're right, it is something to work with. Who does this punk think he is to talk down on us at like that. The nerve!!!

didn't recognize State...

or didn't know State nickname was Sycamores?!

Can someone, ANYONE post a picture of Corey Williams looking out of his earhole when he gets thumped tomorrow night?

Not to impune his talent but how good can he be? I mean, he's a FLA kid (crazy-rich talent base) and he's playing NAIA ball in ILL? And Quincy ISN'T a NAIA power, are they?
Shoot, they aren't Carroll (MT) or St Frank's / FtWayne or Sioux Falls (SD) are they?

Doesn't look like they received any votes

Thinking they aren't even the best team in their conference.

Not saying we'll win but if we do; someone should 'introduce' Corey to NCAA Div 1-FCS football!

I think the better bulletin board material is the kid from Indianapolis saying "that's not going to happen", referring to Indiana State stopping the losing streak. Hopefully some of our players will read the link and want to pound Quincy.

The guys will know about this and hear these quotes. I will make sure of it..........

Strong words for a kid at an NAIA school.......

Don't piss off DI athletes. I hope Alex Sewall and Donye hear this and welcome this kid to Memorial Stadium tomorrow..........

Can anybody get ahold of Alex???

I am pretty sure someone on here can get ahold of Alex and let him know about this.

Alex already knows about the article. He knows the positions and numbers of the players that were quoted. Alex is looking forward to the game and his first (of hopefully many) wins at ISU. I'm hoping he and Donye don't wind up with as many tackles as last season--that would mean the defense is on the field less, and the line and LBs are making more tackles closer to the line of scrimmage. That being said, I'm sure they will both be ready to lay some hits on people, and make some plays in the defensive backfield.

I hope with Stutz under center, and the fact that he likes to control the clock and run a pro style offense, we will be able to keep our D off the field for enough time to re-coup. That has been a huge problem in the past few years. When our defense was rested they were pretty good last year. Add another year of experience tot hat and I think we are going to be good. If we can work the clock on offense we should be ok. I can't wait till tomorrow, you coming in town NSF?

Yep, I'll be there. Hoping to convince the wife to leave a little earlier than currently planned (12:00 Central--from Chicago). I want to break out the grill and have a few hours to "prepare" for the game. I'll be in a Black van with Illinois plates somewhere near the Southwest corner. Stop by and have a cold one. What's the weather forecast in TH?

come over and join us!

This kid from Quincy sounds like he should be at Ivy Tech...I mean really. I would understand if someone said they had never heard of Quincy....I mean its tiny. But to not have heard of Indiana State? Not that we are this amazingly well known school. But lets be real here...I am sure he has heard of Indiana...and considering that probably about 50 states have "state" schools...one would simply have to be able to figure out that there is an Indiana State and thus has heard of it.

I am remembering a scene from a movie....I want to see snot bubbles!!!!!

NSF, we are always located on the west side just south of the locker rooms. We will have a white tent up and our corn hole boards out so feel free to stop by. We will be there around 3.

The day has come.

Boda, I am loving the forecast!

The real forcast is good though, there is a 30% chance of scattered showers after 7 pm. But it was 5 pm yesterday so it keeps moving back on us. Should be ok.
