does anyone know if scotty's or kilroy's are planning on making the move into that new downtown housing and business building under construction right now? or is there an alternative location they are looking at?

That has been the rumor, but not official contract has been signed last I heard.

The rumor was that Roys was going into that shell space... We will see - it wouldn't surprise me if it happened.

This or a Kilroys would do great downtown IMO. As long as its quality food, people will pay for it. Also if a restaurant such as these does come to town it better be flooded with ISU stuff. They need to contact Dever and ISU to make sure some legit ISU shit ends up in there.

I hope they don't. No offense, but I've long wanted to open something with a group of friends and have it be ISU themed. So I'm glad nobody has taken the bait and done it yet.

I've been to the Kilroy's in Bloomington a few times and it seems like they do a great job of embracing IU and doing fun things that attracts customers. Whether it's shirt give-aways, breakfast clubs, special viewings for big games, etc. If Kilroy's came to Terre Haute and did the same thing but 100% pro ISU i'd be a huge supporter of it. I really think that Kilroy's would be the best option if they do a good job of supporting ISU and don't have a hint of IU in there.

158 likes and 87 posts and a possible article in the Tribune tomorrow?!?!

If so, sounding like this is a real possibility here! Would be a good thing for downtown, Indiana State and the students if we could have another establishemnt option downtown!

According to a tweet photo he had texted someone back in 2011 that the Haute wasn't in his plans unless he had an investing partner. As well all know alot in this town has changed since then. I think we have made this downtown a lot more attractive for prospective business.
