Drake got one vote in the TSN poll. They will be playing with a chip on their shoulder, hope we do too! This is a game that the Pioneer League could use as an "I told you we deserved an automatic bid" game if they win. Let's not let it happen Sycamores!

Penalties and dropped passes were a plague last season. These problems have shown up again this season.

The boys need to be stay focused and the sky is the limit. The talent is there.

They need to play with the intensity that they used against Quincy. This is going to be a much tougher challenge as Drake played #3 Montana St. last week and gave them a scare before losing, 34-24, actually leading after 3 qtrs 24-21. Looks like they have a good QB in Mike Piatkowski, going 25-43 311 yds passing but weak running game getting just 59 yds on 34 carries. Our secondary should be tested.

THE DRAKE SERIES
Indiana State and Drake are renewing a series that has been dormant since 1985 on Saturday with the Sycamores holding an 8-2 advantage in 10 previous meetings. The Sycamores are 4-1 all-time versus the Bulldogs inside Memorial Stadium. ISU has won each of the last four meetings in the series between the two teams, who used to compete against each other in the Missouri Valley Conference.
