Creating this now. Indiana State is off this week while Western Illinois will be in action aganist 0-1 Sam Houston State. Sam Houston dropped their opener to Baylor 34-3. Coach Miles and staff will have plenty of film on Western by the time we kickoff.

this would be a huge road win for the Sycamores if they can pull it off. How long since ISU has won a road game in the MVFC/Gateway??

a win at WIU, then a win vs. Quincy and I would feel pretty good about ISU beating MSU and Illinois State at home the following 2 weeks.

It all starts tomorrow, gotta get that road win 1st!

hopefully it'll be on www.channelsurfing.net, if it is, it won't be listed on there until gametime more than likely, so we'll have to keep checking. The ISU radio broadcast can be spotty at times, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I am sure WIU has a radio link too.

Lastly, ISU is now doing a live blog from the games, and actually that is the best bet, as you can actually submit questions to whoever it is that is blogging for ISU. They type in the result of every play immediately after it happens, so it's even ahead of the radio.

Ideally we'll be able to watch on channelsurfing.net and watch the blog, when that happens you see what happens on the blog, then watch it on channelsurfing, then you know exactly what's going to happen before you see it. (channelsurfing runs slower than the blog).

make sense?

Where is it we can watch the game online or listen to it on the radio?

I like that ISU's had an extra week to prepare for this week. Like I said in the opponent preview thread, this game is a must win. You can't beat a team last year when you were playing for nothing and come out the next year and lay an egg.

gonna be raining during the game, rain passing thru Iowa and making a b-line for Macomb, hope the players are able to catch the passes today.

does WIU play on grass or turf??

Accu-Weather has let me down. They say STILL say sunny with rain early in the evening. Weather radar says rain. Oh, well, that is why weather prediction is like gambling. At least it will keep the players cool if it does rain. GO TREES~
