I think they have a better shot with Marshall than they do with Stevens. Can't imagine the UCLA faithful will be thrilled if both turn the job down to stay with their current programs. Would be a little deflating to the ego.
 
I honestly think Brad Stevens bleeds Butler blue for life or atleast SEVERAL more years. He seems content and happy at Butler plus he has better seasons there than all the other schools that want him every year so besides the $$ why leave? Plus with Butler joining the new Big East and the huge tv deal the schools are suppose to get now I think he stays at Butler. Plus Butler already lost former WRV standout Matthew Graves who has always been rumored to take over the reins at BU if Stevens left.....I think Marshal is more likely to be interested since it looks like the MVC is starting to crumble a bit losing a powerhouse like Creighton.
 
I love that guy's "in your face" f/c defense. Better than Louisville's. Oregon & K-mac will find out today how the Ducks hold up against Pitino's "mug D."

Or he was VERY confident that Brad was going to stay. Say Brad stays, coaches several more years at BU, then leaves, if Matthew has immediate success, he would be the obvious choice. If Brad does a 180, then Matt might be pissed but you'd think he wouldn't have left if he thought Brad was bailing.
