Not sure if this breaks protocol for the idea of the “silent” auction but did anybody hit on anything? I had a few bids but got outbid at the last minute. Not complaining because I knew that could happen. A lot of cool items in there.

I can tell you that last years golf outing netted around $100k last year.
This year once tomorrow is done we are going to be around $210k it was a big night tonight both in the silent and live auction.
Masters Sunday package with for $22k. It was a really good night for Indiana State Basketball.

We really don’t take many moments as Sycamores to appreciate the work we are doing and the work that has been done…
You had a lot of high $$ donors in the room tonight who actually didn’t have to contribute to get us north of $200k and that is a big deal. They might have bought teams and what not so the helped - my point is when you’re doing a live auction you need multiple people in the room with the bandwidth to bid. It was a pretty high level room of supporters.
Indiana State will never have the top NIL budget in the MoVal but as long as we have an Admin that understand that hoops is our flagship program and we can be in the upper half to third eventually of NIL budgets this program can thrive.
I hated missing last night, but had some last minute shuffling of plans for our kids and their different teams. I was happy to see the silent auction went well. I opened a bidder's card, but didn't pull the trigger on anything. My wife loved that quilt, but it was a little too high for me to snag it. What was the consensus about the retro logo metal sign?
You know with everything going on I didn’t have any discussions on the sign last night. But as you know the sign has garnered high praise from everyone - it’s been such a great donation by you and your friend. So thank you buddy! Sorry we missed you last night.

Yeah, hated missing......but what do you do? I was just curious of the reaction from some bigger donors in the room that I haven't talked to. Looking to get an idea of what to do in the future.
I honestly didn't know about it. Did it have an online component? If not, that's why.
It did... I received a text with a link on Monday at 7:14 PM about it. (The text was from "71760") I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. I'm glad they sent it out, I bid several things up, but ultimately didn't win anything. A wonderful way to get more eyes, and dollars, in play. Hat tip to everyone involved!
