Interesting, I suppose. I was never a fan of all of the sculptures on campus but I know folks that were.

Yeah, I don't mind the 'public art' but I don't need to take a test in order to recognize some pieces.

The "Runner" art piece is now up along the South Entrance to the new student rec center. It actually looks pretty cool. FYI the open house and ribbon cutting for the new SRC is Friday at 1 pm. The first day of business is Monday the 13th.

Looks more like a 6th grade garage project...geeesh, I need to re-enroll in that ISU "Intro to Art History 151" class and rediscover "creativity.":verysad:

Could be worse

Well, at least State didn't commission a 'performance art' piece!

I'm glad State continues to improve the campus; would love to see more trees,
esp. mature ones on the Quad.

Shame that State doesn't have a more unifying architectural style but...

Will be great if State and the state and city, county can work w/ CSX to relocate the rail lines on the North and East side of campus.

Anyone wonder why / if there was any thoughts on relocating State after it burned in the early days?
