Sycamorefan317,
I cant agree with you more but at this very moment valleyfanatic is steaming over what proof you have that any school but WSU has any rights at all....

They're simply reflecting their "aero" in-the box mentality, failing to accept the fact E-ville & Terre Haute baseball traditions equal or surpass that of Wichita.

As an alum of UE, I can honestly say that our baseball tradition does not equal or surpass that of Wichita... someone else can make the fight about ISU.

Fanatic,
I was hurt that you didnt respond to my non-verbal jab at your lack of love for the entire Valley but only Valley schools residing in Wichita...

They were playing organized baseball in TH & E-ville before Toto and Judy Garland ever hit Oz and the Kansas plains!

By the way...what's Jay up to? Wasn't he going to try playing Euro-ball after his '09 graduation?

Am guessing you're looking at school's baseball pedigrees vs. the cities themselves....

wichita has hosted baseball for 80 years (1887); from D, A, AA, AAA and Ind.
evansville has had a team for 92 years (1884); D, B, AA, AAA, and Ind.
The Haute... 56 years of baseball (1884) D and B ball

the schools... let the debate begin

they're (baseball-ref) isn't counting the Rex... minors vs. summer collegiate
