Well, he picked a good school; I'm guessing it was a combination of athletics and academics.
Morningside is small but in the same class as St Joseph's (Rennesaeler), Manchester and Taylor...

They're also a pretty good NAIA football program -- With another transfer (and having already red-shirted...), would he have even be eligible at an NCAA school?

Good luck Chris

"We were a little excited about being on the field,'' said Ryan's new quarterback, Chris Stutzriem, a junior from Lawton, Okla., with starts to his credit at both Indiana State and Wyoming. "Once we settled down, we had a lot of fun in the second half.''

The 6-3, 245-pound Stutzriem completed 17 of 27 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns, all three of them in the Mustangs' big third quarter.

Good for Chris. I think he could have been successful at Indiana State, but was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time.

i liked chris...he's a good kid...but maybe he went back to throwing the football....

instead of trying to shot put it.........

low blow?

i have said several times on this website (and other places) that i like chris...he's a good kid.....but what i said about his throwing motion...was something that i said several times......when he was was playing for isu last year....and then people agreed with me....lol....

and setting his feet...had nothing to do with his throwing motion......i was told by several people involved in the program....that he had changed his throwing motion....after he got to isu......

his motion became more of trying to shot put the ball...instead of throwing the football with an easy relaxed motion.....he did it in practice.....with nobody at his feet....i watched him do it in practice...lol....just tossing the ball in warmups.....his throwing motion was all messed up......

the coaches tried to work on it with him during practice.....to change his motion....but he would revert back to it.....

he somehow developed a funky throwing motion.....there's nothing derogatory in that comment.....jeez.....

sometimes i think people look for reasons to get mad...lol.....

and lest anyone think any further ill of me....i am glad that chris is now having success at the college level...he really deserves it......

His throwing motion changed from the minute he started practicing OR after spending a game or two on his back?

from the time he arrived at isu.....

boy...talk about revisonist history....lol.....a year ago i said the exact same thing...and everybody agreed with me.......and now i am being blasted for it....lol.......

The problem is it shows no class to come in here and down the kid after he has left. Act like you've been there before.

no class? give me a break....lol....

you folks should have heard what was being said at the game saturday night....people comparing fouch to chris......what i said was mild.......

and if i remember right......some of the same people complaining about my comment.....are the same ones who agreed with me last year.....lol......

and....once again....as i said before...and before...and before...I LIKE CHRIS...HE IS A GOOD KID......he just had a flaw in his throwing motion.....jeez louise.....and it had nothing to do with poor pass blocking.....it certainly didn't help it.....but it didnt cause it.....because he was doing it in practice.....when there was no pass rush.....nobody at his feet......just soft tossing the football to his receivers.......and this was early...like in august...before any games had been played......

it would be interesting to see video of his game from this past weekend...and compare it to what we saw last season....and see if there was any change in his throwing motion......

Tom, everyone in here wished him well but you. Instead of coming in here and doing the same, you poured salt into old wounds. Again, it's on you. You can choose to deny it all you want, but post #9 doesn't lie.

And if folks at the game were still talking about Chris, they need to grow up. Bottom line.
