Sullivan Firefighter/Medic Killed in Line of Duty

Today we lost a local hero and one of my fellow brothers. Please keep Chad's family,friends and the Sullivan Fire Dept. in your thoughts & prayers.

LODD of Chad Null a firefighter/paramedic with Sullivan Fire Department, Sullivan Indiana.

Chad collapsed at the fire station following an EMS response earlier today.

What a horrible time-of-year for something like to happen. My thoughts are with his family. Not that death can ever come at a "opportune" time, but it has to be especially tough for the family over the holidays. Hate to hear this.

FM75, Having known over a half-dozen firefighters (and a Chief), I am always amazed the bond that the industry has amongst it's peers. Certainly made tougher because of the time of the year, my thoughts and prayers go out to Chad's family and the wonderful town of Sullivan, as I know dozens of people from there and love the city that has left so many fond memories for me over four decades.
