We're doing a little smorgasboard. I've been dieting a bit, so I'm having a piece of Chicago deep dish pizza (Geno's frozen is actually really fucking good) and then some Mexican-style totchos. Since we have access to awesome chilis and peppers all year long, I make a pretty fucking killer salsa verde.

100% prefer Lou's when I'm in Chicago but their flash frozen/shipped pizza isn't worth the cost. You're out $100 damn near every time. Our here at Albertson's, they actually carry Ginos in the store and it's like 1/10th the price. So I'll take picking up one of those for $6.99 on sale any day.

There was a rumor Lou's was opening a spot here in Vegas and I'll be super pumped. We have Giordanos and my wife met someone off Facebook marketplace that relocated from Chicago and her husband is working on getting the bread distribution/logistics up and running so they can open Portillos.

Gotta love Alberston's

no plans to watch game tonight but any respectable fball fan should be double-fisting a Burnt End sandwich (Bryant's) and a Philly Cheese Steak (wiz wit)

I'm afraid Albertson's is going to go downhill now that Kroger owns 'em.

It's one of the few stores where you can get unique items that nobody else carries. They also send me a $5 off $5 coupon every week so who doesn't like free groceries?
