Don't think so and this is one of those things that the new media folks get wrong -- YouTube is still the #1 video site because you can embed from it. If you want it to be SEEN and not just seen, put it up on YouTube.

I saw the video on my daughters facebook--she watched me like a hawk so I wouldn't wander around her page. The video is well done, and pretty cool, although I agree that it's pretty short. It would also be nice to have more current players--the front end is mostly Dan M., who graduated, and I saw Donye (senior last year) and a short clip of Ryan Roberts catching a pass. The best thing would have been to include a clip of the post game from the Western Illinois game last season.
 
The length is what it is -- it's 30 seconds and if they were to actually buy advertising, I'd imagine that is what they could afford on local TV and what not. BTW, I just ripped the video off Facebook and will be putting it on YouTube.

However, if this wasn't made for TV advertising, they could have also done an extended version for web media.

There, done... hopefully they don't have a problem with it, but this is 2010 and it took me what, 3 minutes to promote the football team by doing that?

what do u think is the background above the fb field in the last part? with the isu flag in the background and people chanting "isu, isu, isu"? that has to b a camera on the field when the people rushed the field

Yeah, that was the WIU game. I remember it quite well. Being there for that game is something I'll never forget. It really was fun!
