SF. Carter/ Logan Eitel
PF. Barlow/Koang
C. Leitnaker

For example;
Odum is better than Cutter and Reed
Latham is better than Printy Cutter Reed
Lucas Eitel is better than Printy and Carter
RJ is better than Carter and Printy

I understand many of you like Printy - I have nothing against him or you as fans. I just have not seen him shoot the ball well enough as a SG to feel comfroatable with him as player. He shows very little emotion, just not my type of player.

First of all........ DANG IT! We are talking about next year again. Oh, well.

With respect, here are my disagreements.

CARTER - I'm interested in why you think Aaron will fall that far? I like him and think that he plays pretty smart and consistent.

ODUM - I know that I have posted on here that I don't think that Jake Odum is the best PG in the state (that is a very LARGE title). But.... I have also stated that I think he is extremely good. He will probably play before any of the other freshmen or RS-freshmen next year. I actually agree with you on his placement as the #1 or #2 PG next year. He truly is a PG, where as Marshall and Reed may be better at the SG. Jake will obviously need to get stronger (He knows that). I really like his defensive ability and the way he sees the court.

EITELS - I think that they are pretty good. However, I think they need a little bit of time to develop. I believe that they will be good players for ISU in the future. We stole them as walk-ons. I'm really excited about them.

PRINTY - It's kind of funny that we argue so much over him. He is actually a very quite, extremely nice kid. That being said, he has struggled with his shot. I know that Morgan is not a big fan of his abilities and that's ok. Jordan has gotten better defensively and he is a very good passer. From having been a basketball player myself, I will say that I think streaky shooting is easier to correct than bad passing and bad defense.

Those are my disagreements. I agree with you for the most part.

I love your post! Guessing at future lineups is something I've done for 45 years. Here's mine.

PG Marshall
2g Reed
SF Lathan
PF Richard
C Martin

subs:

PG: Odum
2G Printy
SF Carter
PF Doluony
c Mahurin

This assumes that Marshal learns the PG spot. I think he can do it. It also assumes that Richard or Doluony must be on the floor at forward and that Mahurin will be more effective anywhere on the floor than our two big guys.

If Odum is at least equal to Cutter next year, then I would redshirt Cutter. I might consider redshirting Carter.
