Yeah case in point, Pat Devlin from the University of Delaware. Signed by Miami yesterday.

Devlin is a good comparison. He had been a highly touted recruit for Penn State, but he left PSU's program after a year (or two?) because he didn't want to wait around for Darryl Clark to graduate before he'd get a chance to start. The move to an FCS school worked pretty well for him.
