I know we've got some folks with ties to the program on here... was this addressed at all? More specifically, I'm considered about the conditioning along the offensive line. I honestly believe if the OL was in good shape, we would have continued what started out to be an onslaught.

I know they were all there during the summer, and everyone worked pretty hard. However, I think most of the hard work is in the weight room. It's a tough balance with the linemen--you need to keep the weight, but you also need to do the cardio. I think this was probably the first year of "real" conditioning for almost all of them. We'll see what happens as the year moves on, and particularly next year, after a second summer.

I'm not sure about conditioning but according to T James' alumni newsletter the practices have been much more intense.

Good deal. Maybe they need to have Black Tuesdays like the Florida Gators have. I hear that is a crazy intense conditioning practice and why Florida never seems to get tired in the 3rd and 4th despite playing in terrible weather -- high heat and humidity.

In looking back, I have no doubt in my mind that game ends up 35-10 if the Sycamores had good conditioning. No doubt at all.

That is realistic but I would love to see them go into the 4 qtr within a TD and keep it close. Would love to see them leave with the respect of that L'ville crowd.
