Three Valley teams on there

Purple Ace is basically a pimp, Shocker has to do with Wheat...How freakin' difficult is that???
How do you make this list without the Indiana Hoosiers?

Any list w/out the Loosiers is a better effort!

I just find it interesting meeting kids who went to Vincennes high school then UE for college. Vincennes being the Alices which is basically a Prostitute, so it's like the classic transition from infantry to command ;):D:D:D:D:D:D

indiana is littered with goofy high school mascots, i did a project on this back in high school for my creative writing class. the best high school name in the country though is in california i believe, the school's name is Poca and their mascot is Dots.

The Poca Dots are from Poca, West Virginia.

Indiana still has some great current city / name combos: Speedway Spark Plugs, Frankfurt Hot Dogs

Mount Vernon a couple of years ago (using couple liberally) almost changed their name to the fighting bluffs (mcfaddens bluff was the original name for mount Vernon)

The Cal State - Long Beach teams are officially the 49ers; only the baseball team uses the colloquial name of 'Dirtbags'....

No thoughts on the UC - Santa Cruz Banana Slugs??

Back in the day, where I came from there was the Van Buren Blue Devils and rigth next door was the Brazil Red Devils.

A hellva place to be from......
