The Wade Level
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The requests for tickets are pouring in following the Sycamores bid into the NCAA tournament.

The ticket office at the Hulman Center started accepting requests for tickets Tuesday morning. This week, requests can only be made by the roughly 2,500 season ticket holders. If Indiana State University gets more tickets than requests, Hulman Center Assistant Director Jennifer Cook plans to open up requests from the general public early next week

Ithink they should do a deal like the ad I saw for the Bulls in the Tribune Sunday. Order your season tickets for next year now and be on the list for playoff tickets.

Tickets?

Anyone else put their name on the list for tickets. The folks at the ticket office seem to have a pretty good plan going for this thing. I talked to them twice today. Sounds crazy in the background!

It will be the first time in the history of ISU basketball if the ticket office can get it right and delivered in time for the trip to the first game. They only have a few days to get them delivered you know?

Ok so let me clarify there is a list? Are you committed to buying these tickets if they are to far away I mean i can only go if i can drive there and back (Cleveland and Chicago) in one day

Dave you have to tell them the locations that you want ticket to. For example if my name was on the list I would tell them that I did NOT want on the list for Tucson or Denver, so if we end up in either one of those places I wouldn't have been on the list to get tickets. If you are on the list and you are lucky enough to get tickets - you don't have a choice to buy them - you were on the list.

I removed my name from the list because I have only had season tickets for the last 2 years thus I am at the bottom of the food chain. I will be getting tickets through another connection.

I'm currently laid over in Tucson...called the McHale Center today. I can't believe it, but the dude told me that EACH SCHOOL will only be allotted 350 tickets, and any unsold tickets will be returned to the host site for window sale.

Your big time, online power brokers (Tickemaster, etc.) are the one's where you'll get a ticket, but of course, you'll pay the an arm, leg & first-born child. Some things just ain't right...

well damn...i hope i can get a ticket or 2, im so pumped to go if they play in chi-town, cleveland, charlotte, or dc. maybe tulsa, but the other sites too far for my pocketbook.

My game plan is to hang in Tucson thru "Selection Sunday." If the Trees are transplanted to the SW desert, I'm gonna stay in town for the Regional. I'll "kill some time" down @ the OK Corral in Tombstone until then. Neat town...kinda reminds me of Rome! History will never let it change...:violent:

I am in New York City next Wednesday on business, so if ISU plays in D.C. there's an outside chance I can extend my trip and hopefully catch the game. We'll see. Otherwise, unless they play in Denver, Chicago, or Tulsa I'm probably not geographically located well enough to get to the game.

That'll be a wild trip...Philly-Baltimore-DC. A couple weeks ago while enroute to Marlborough, MA from Largo, FL, I specifically went 200 mi out of my way (I-81) to AVOID those congestive nightmares! ;)

I would definitely be taking public transportation if I made the trip (train, plane, etc.). I wouldn't bother trying to navigate my way in a car. No thanks!
