As Todd notes in his blog post, there was a lot of competition at QB.

Miles winning this award and having several players named first and second team, and honorable mention, is outstanding. I'm really proud of the team and everything that was accomplished this year. It went so far beyond expectations. It's well deserved!

In past years I've seen more than one player listed at the QB position on the 2nd team. I pretty much felt that Barr would be the first team QB and the Offensive POY, but Ronnie certainly deserved at least 2nd team with Rennie. If they named a conference MVP (rather than the POY, which is based on stats) Fouch would definitely deserve that. There was no player that I saw this year that was more important to his teams success than Ronnie. The team would not have had the success it had without him--I hope he knows that, because his teammates, the coaching staff, and all of the Sycamore fans certainly do.

Congratulations to Coach Miles and all of the players named--very well-deserved, and an exciting close to a fantastic season!

Big slaps on the back for Coach Miles and the players named to the conference teams. Well deserved recognition. Everyone involved with this team should be very proud of what was accomplished this year. Hard work and patience really does pay off. Can not wait for next season!!! GO TREES! Keep workin' hard.

Congrats to Coach Miles..............finally an award was given for a body of work, not for politics.

We should also see good representation on the All Newcomer team that will be released tomorrow--we have some very deserving newcomers, including Fouch, Hilton, Bell, Burnett, King. I'm hoping Fouch gets the Newcomer of the Year; he gets my vote. Then the academic team is announced on Wednesday, not sure what we might see on that. Also hoping to see some national recognition--Coach Miles, Gates, Obaseki...?

4 First Teamers
3 Second Teams
Jones
Burke
Washington

4 Honorable Mentions
LB Aaron Archie, QB Ronnie Fouch, WR Justin Hilton, DB Calvin Burnett

Congratulations!!

I think the great part about this, in particular, is that all of these guys are coming back next year with the exception of Gates and Burke. Hopefully they all can stay healthy, get better, and be on this list next year.

Congrats also to Coach Miles for an honor well-deserved. The work that he and his staff have done with this program is beyond unbelievable. He has taken a program on the brink of being eliminated and has turned it around to respectability.

If it weren't for Coach Miles, his staff, and the hard work they've all put in, I believe ISU football as we know it wouldn't exist today.

MUCH RESPECT.
