ive always thought they should sell tickets to the tailgate that were also good to get in the game. maybe make people go in and then start it all back up after halftime or something.

wrt the coppers rousting tail-gaters, that's not unique to Indiana State; my sister (that joint in west lafayette) has long complained that either the university cops or west lafayette's finest have "routinely reminded folks that game was over and to pack up and leave..."


Yes AFTER the game. I am cool with this approach. Don't make me leave during the game.
 
Many of the things we don't like about society start and end with concerns about being sued. Those in positions of responsibility do believe it is part of their responsibility to protect the image and assets of their institution by setting up clearly defined rules and tightly controlled situations so that they are not held responsible when, not if, something goes awry. It is a trendline across society that shows no signs of abating. I don't like it most of the time. It is treating adults like children; however, too many adults act worse than children.
