UCLA Gets Huge 86-59 Win Over Indiana State

This might be a difficult season for Indiana State, and it opens with an unfortunate loss. The Sycamores were outmatched in Los Angeles, losing big to the Bruins, 86-59.
UCLA controlled the game by dominating rebounding and also maintaining a statistical advantage in assists. [TABLE="class: charttable"]

UCLA pulled down 52 big rebounds compared to 33 by Indiana State, and that created a possession gap. Assists were a factor for UCLA, with 17 compared to 10 for Indiana State.

Indiana State comes away with an unfortunate early season loss to UCLA. Hopefully, the Sycamores can rise above it and turn things around quickly.
The next team up is Winthrop at home on November 13th.

• Indiana State started 0-1 during the 2008, 2001, 2000, 1999, and 1998 seasons (since 1996).
• The top two rebounders (Justin Gant and Manny Arop) accounted for 42.4% of the rebounds.

I'm sorry. I'm too slow to realize that was all a copy. I just didn't understand. It sounded derrogatory to me and I would consider it a ho-hum victory for UCLA, not a huge one. And the stuff about a difficult season, well, that may be one person's opinion but it sure isn't mine.

Software could pull for a bank of customized comments based on the final score...
