Believe the founder of Under Armor is a Maryland grad. They could become the ying to Knight/Oregon's yang.

Not only is he a grad, he also played football for the Terrapins; Oregon's unis aren't great but I believe Maryland set a new low.

Am not a fan of our road whites; could get used to the ISU vice Sycamores but prefer Indiana State, State, Sycamore over ISU.

The black boarder on the uni numbers made the numbers blur not POP on the tv screen; definitley NOT a fan of that stripe running around, under the uni number on the back of the jersey.

I'm ignoring the black uni pants for obvious reasons.

If we make the playoffs; our guys could run around in bedazzled pink jerseys with tutus for all i care.

Yea, that'll help recruiting, merchandise sales...

I am just stating that as a person whos fashion instincts usually levels off at plaid shorts with a red polo...I really don't care honestly... Make re o. The field product great and make the players happy and ws will help pay for stuff

Well that explains the 'approval' of the new boise state look!

I'm not a clothes horse and live in polos/golf shirts when not at work but how ANYONE in the Maryland Athl Dept didn't say, hey -- what will this look like...
is beyond me.

Someone should have said, less IS more!

HAHAHA can't disagree with that...I liked boises jerseys the helmet was "eh"

i love how we went away with the blacks this year because that was the identity last year. although i wouldn't mind if we bring them out for a big game or atleast once this season. also i love the new logo they had on their chest the shape of indiana then STATE. i believe that you will be seeing a lot more of that on our athletic uniforms.

There is no reason for black unis. Period.

I prefer seeing STATE on the jerseys, replace the A with the state outline.

Like the blue, still prefer use of TRADITIONAL royal blue, not the modern version; traditional is a couple of shades darker.

Stumped by that 'blob' on the pants trying to mimic a stripe; stumped by the stripe/piping on the jerseys (looping around the numbers)

Agrred. If the students want to wear black, let them. Accent uniforms with black, OK. But to change school colors is out of the question. Indiana State needs tradition. Stick with colors, style of uniforms, use the unique "Trees" nickname to the fullest. Good crowd Saturday, good atmosphere, and another concerted effort needs to be made to get students and community out again. No pay to park, cheap tickets, great setting, great day. We drove 2 hours and 3 hours ( 2 alumni) to get to the stadium. Well worth it. Keep the momentum going!

I like the Maryland uni's...it is the Maryland State Flag. I get it, I hope they don't wear them all the time, but it is pretty neat looking, I think. I know they are not traditional and I know that they are not common looking but that is the point. Maryland will sell a boatload of them and make money off it.

I thought Michigan's were ok, I liked the big M, I thougth it looked OLD SCHOOL for sure. I thought ND,s were terrible looking and the shamrock on the helmet made me want to stop watching (which I should have done).

Oregon can't make a uni that I like, no matter what. I am convinced that Nike makes them as ugly as possible.

But overall, I think that the Maryland ones are the nicest, they do have a point, it is the Maryland state flag.

Perhaps the maryland unis would have looked better had they zig-zagged the Calvert and Crossland arms (like the flag IS), vice splitting the player in half...

They could have reached their goal (State Pride) with a better design.

Not sure how many maryland will sell --- outside of their alumni base, there aren't many UM football fans (or UM fans)

the uniforms were not meant to look good, they were meant to celebrate the history of the football teams and rivalry. those were both throw back uniforms.

i also agree with 4q. i would rather have STATE across the chest with the A replaced with the outline of the state. but the outline before the word STATE looked a lot better than previous uniform decisions.
