RP would handle that...I think Creighton will seek a new hoop profile rather than continue the Altman mold.

the way R.P. did the the process for the womens coach i say he do the same with the men's coach. coach lansing is a great guy, but he has been part of the program for YEARS and theres no arguing the success has not been there.

but just like my old man says..."we will cross that bridge when we get there."

Yeah, hard to fault someone going from $150k to $800k+ a year.

Yes, Lansing should definitely get a chance at the job. He does a great job with our recruiting. Some other guys I'd like to see get called and/or interviewed.

• Randy Bennett, coach, Saint Mary's
• John Groce, coach, Ohio
• Stew Morrill, coach, Utah State
• Mark Montgomery, associate head coach, Michigan State
• Scott Sutton, coach, Oral Roberts

Hannah's wasn't on staff already when passed over two times either. I'd bet my last dollar that it will be Lansing if McKenna leaves.

If McKenna leaves (and salary is part of that equation...) Could we afford Bennett, Morrill or Sutton? No idea what they make know but have to believe it's the same or more, esp for Morrill, hasn't he been with the USU Aggies forever? He's a Western Guy; USU for 12 years, Col St and Montana before... Bennett is a West Coast guy -- his next job will be a Pac-10 school,

Agree with Groce - Ind. native, young, great recruiter; Sutton -- have to believe we'd be paying more... Montgomery -- he won't stay long; Lansing will be a candidate

I want someone between 35-50; Midwest roots/ties; WANTs to coach in the Valley, WANTS to build a program
