The Kelly foul was a phantom call however it's pretty obvious jake was touched just surprised the official called it.

This is basically the same as the Kelly call. It was a foul, and it was surprising that the ref called it.

I will say this, if you watch the replay, the one thing that stands out to me is that the referee called it immediately, no hesitation whatsoever. Sometimes you will see a ref wait to check the result of the shot and if they missed THEN they will call it. That didn't happen here, he called it before the ball got to the basket.

I can understand UNI's frustration though. Had the roles been reversed we would all be on here talking about how We Would Never Get That Type Of Call and how you cant make that type of call in that type of situation.

Either way, we dont have a lot of time to reflect on it. Take it, and now lets focus on playing A LOT better in "Bitchita".

He would have been better off to have bodied him. And the touch, wasn't a touch. It was more of a slap....and worse yet, he uses his right hand...at least use your left hand to try and influence the shot, not the right arm flying across in front of your body for everyone in the HC and the refs to see.

Gotta give him credit, there was absolutely no hesitation on his part. Gutsy call.
