At the game and all I saw was Walker being choked from behind by one of Drake's bigs and Walker being pulled backward and then the Drake big going down in a heap and losing a "contact". What's the deal and did anyone see anything different--I guess the refs did?

And I am also a member of the OFC and so my eye sight is not the best!

My eyesight is not quite as good as it used to be also; thinking I should be about ready to get my license to officiate in the Valley. I sit over the area in the corner where the Sycamores enter and exit the lockeroom so it basically happened right in front of me but all I actually saw was the Drake player hitting the floor rather hard. Have to think it was not malicious as Walker would have been ejected and barred from the next game. Actually think that if the Drake player was riding Walker the foul should have been on him? Don't really understand the technical on Walker?

Neither is the eye sight of the guy whos contact he knocked out... lol Daveinth has his season tickets right behind me and I turned around and told him, "if they would have called the foul when it should have been called it wouldn't have got to that point" the way it turned out (and usually does with Walker) is because he's such a big physical guy they kinda let things go. I have sat court-side recently and he gets beat on pretty good down low.

I listened on the radio yesterday and the guys were commenting on the same thing that the posts above me are saying. Call the foul right away and Walker wouldn't have had to take things into his own hands...however, I'm sure we'd be crying foul if a Drake guy threw a elbow/forearm into Walker's chest. For my money, if you're going to do anything there, call a double foul or swallow the whistle and move on with the game. The fact that the officials let it escalate to that level and then called uneven fouls was pretty silly.

Here is my point on the play why the hell did we sit there and review the damn play . I thought they were watching over and over trying to figureout what the problem was . This made no sense to me and SSOM was right had they called the foul when it happened then it would not have escalated this far . But again thats why they are supposed to be pros and know how to call a game I guess now they need to review every single play to see if there was a foul . I thought they only reviewed buzzer shots, time calls, weather or not it was a three point shot . Didnt know they could review fouls .

I recorded the game and I thought the Drake player did a major flop. Myles opened the door for it, but only after he was fouled big time.

It was embarassing. Walker did give him a good shot, but he rolled around like he was a dying bug.
