A local brew pub would be nice... but since Rock Bottom has a couple in Indy, that would be welcome as well.

I would like to see a 2nd BW3s on Wabash by campus. If that had been there, it would have made an absolute killing.

I also second a local brew pub.

All I have ever asked for is fresh food at decent prices...I don't like paying for things I could have bought myself from a GFS...

quaker steak is a wings place like bdubs only way better wings in my opinion. it has more of a car and mechanic theme but still a great place for wings.

It all boils down to per capita income...as long as it is low, few new things will come. If it increases, it will bring new stores, restaurants, etc.

I would just like to see downtown turned into a Broad Ripple type atmosphere with restaurants, bars, etc.

This is happening.
Another nice bar is opening tonight.
BluKat is replacing Wim's... it's completely renovated, will have live bands, non-smoking and will have "quiet area" so that you can hear the band and still talk.

All within walking distance of campus:

Bars:
BallyHoo, Terminal, Copper Bar, The Verve, BluKatt,

Lunch Restaurants:
CrossRoads Cafe, Clabber Girl, 7th & Elm, Wies Pies, J Gumbos, Rolly Polly, Saratoga

It's too bad that Ambrossini's and Sonka's are down at 14th street... they would work VERY well in downtown.

Chick-fil-A and Culver's would be awesome, although I'd get really fat if they were near campus.

Quaker Steak is amazing, I used to frequent the one in Canton Ohio. Its amazing. They have cornhole set up out side and the wings are amazing, better than B-dubs, hands down.

I was told by a few people that Bostons pizza that was located by Wal-Mart south was really good but it just didnt seem to fit the TH demographic. Basically it was too expensive. I dont know because I lived in Ohio at the the time but I wold have liked to try it.

I went to Bostons pizza once. I was very disappointed. I could have gotten a better pizza at 1/3rd the price from a grocery store. I told them it was overpriced. The waitress said they were going to lower the prices. I told her they could start at that moment. They didn't and they went out of business.

We didn't have a Culver's.. but we had (and still have up north) a Ritters Frozen Custard..
They don't have the restaurant inside like a Culvers... but still very good. (I like Chick-Fil-A's as well..)
