Dotti King, however not sure she would be interested considering she just left SMWC for another position.

She knows the Wabash Valley and did a tremendous job growing SMWC.

Jason Svoboda

Though I hear he doesn’t like cold weather and chafes easily. Could be difficult to lure him back to Indiana winters

They need to go outside of academia. The university has problems that require someone who has run a successful organization, who has proven that they can develop and implement a growth vision, and can make tough choices. Someone who is connected with state and/or federal government.

I would nominate either of Greg Gibson or Ed Pease.

Dr. Chris Olsen......a good guy....young, likes sports, straight shooter. Former chair of the History department......
has steadily proved his worth to ISU as he has ascended to his present position.

Someone who understands how college athletics can promote your school positively. We are a mid major with limited redeeming qualities to standout from other universities. We need to promote the sports teams we have that are winning

Someone who:
- Values our traditions
- Loves Sports
- Has College/Administrative experience
- Possibly an alum with a proven track record for support/involvement
- Definitely NOT Woke!
- Good personality.....effective speaker.....enthusiastic...
- Knows how to read a balance sheet.
- Has an appreciation for marketing
- Has a reputation for being fair and holding people accountable.

All of the above could be applied to future Board Of Trustee members too!

Out of curiosity, and this is in no way an endorsement, how is Licari faring at APSU? It's just a question out of curiosity since he was under consideration here.

I'm kind of digging the Greg Gibson suggestion, although I'm not sure if he'd be interested in it or not.

Pease is 72 - too old in my book.

And at this point, he's not nearly connected to the federal government (and today's GOP isn't his GOP)

Gibson has too many business interests to take on the ISU gig

Who is on your short list for next Indiana State President?

Let's see the names and why you think they'd be a good choice.

Dollars to Donuts and the weekly gross profits of the Ballyhoo... it'll be someone few if anyone has heard of...

Remember, they (from what I’ve researched) have to be A PHD. That person in my opinion will be A Long Shot.

The names they are throwing out do not have PHD’s Mr.🤔

Agree -- you still haven't answered a simple question.

Do YOU think it will be difficult to find a candidate (99% come from academia) that LACKS a PhD?

I think they should at least contact Ronald Rochon. He is obviously pro sports and has helped USI grow. I admit I don't know a ton about him. I would like to see someone younger and hungry to work.
