TJ Bell is by far the most improved Sycamore. But that might not show up in the box score because I'm not yet convinced he will be used/needed to the point that people see that improvement. Plus, not many have seen Bell so how can anyone judge improvement? I've seen him as a HS and I saw him practice last year.

So with that, I'm going with Brown who we saw a lot of last year and probably the kid I was most critical of. That makes him an easy pick for the most improved because he had the furthest to go. He was a poor decision maker last year, poor ball handler/weak with the ball and shot poorly from both the field and the line.

Simple as that. Next question? Lol

I liked Burnett's play at the end of last season, so I'm gonna hope/trust he's continuing on that path and say Burnett.

But other than Brandon, I'd love to see Kitchell have a break out season.

Probably either Burnett or Brown. Bell might be the most improved but since very few of us have seen him play, we have nothing to compare him to. Burnett was starting to come around at the end of last year and I think he could be a contributor this season. The game should be slowing down for Brown now, which means improved decisions with and without the ball.

You mean 2014?

I'm going to throw Smith's name out there.

I can agree with K. Smith. If we're being honest he had a pretty disappointing season last year. If he can consistently knock down jumpers, it will open up the lanes and he could become one of our most reliable scorers.

I think Khristian will have a breakout season!

I'm going to agree with Khristian Smith. I think he'll be more aggressive this year and I think his offensive skill set will be much improved.

Does anyone else look at Demetrius and see a possible Amani Daanish reincarnate? if he can step in this year and put up Daanish type numbers for us....we will be in great shape!

I think and hope that K Smith will make the biggest leap this year. I think he has great potential, he showed some at times last year but if he puts it all together could really be a force!

Before I read through everyone's posts, I already had Khristian Smith as my candidate.

Why? With all the hype he had coming to ISU, and with all the hope we had for him.......none of those expectations really transpired last year.

After getting the kinks out and making the adjustment to finally playing some D1 College Basketball, I think he will really settle in, and have a breakout year!

My 2nd pick was Burnett. I don't know what it is about him.....maybe its his reckless offensive style of play.....he's not afraid to jack up some kind of shot, from just about anywhere on the floor. If he can get some of those to drop, and eliminate the defensive lapses.....he might end up being considerably improved too.

It is sure going to be an interesting season to see who starts, and what the rotation will be off the bench.....

I vote Cummings. No way he can shoot it any worse than last year so he should be an easy choice. Even if the shooting doesn't improve, we still need him to stronger with the ball this year. He was a little timid under pressure last year. Hopefully he put on a bit of muscle in the offseason which will allow him to get out of trouble and avoid the easy rip aways.

K. Smith first with Brandon right behind. Ppl forget that both of these guys were 2 years away from basketball. They were just getting use to playing competitve college ball. This year I believe they will improve drastically and show us fans why they were recruited. Also new possibility K. Smith could start at the 2 with Brandon being back up 3 for Arop. You never know. Im excited to see if how much we improved as a team as well as individual play. I think 3 things we should focus on is execution, finishing, and consistency.
