Why is the MVC near bottom in 40 pt scoring performances in past decade?

Interesting...wonder if the #'s are aligned w/ the trend of mid-majors opting for the "shared principles of scoring" presented by the popular-used MOTION OFFENSE?

I think they're pretty random except for the schools that get multiple players capable of getting 40. Some of the deviations from normal are where one player had multiple games. There's also the defense factor, like the Big Ten had 4 and I would say they are relatively low scoring and play good defense.

Was RJ good in HS? Who recruited him?

Yes, he was good in HS. He was going to play for his dad, be it at IUPUI or Georgia State. He had offers from the ACC, Big Ten, Pac Ten and more. Ron actually applied for the ISU job when McKenna left so had he got it over Lansing, we'd actually be watching R.J. as a Sycamore.

Everything I read they were very close so I guess that is a yes. If I were RJ and my dad were a D1 head coach, I'd play for him, too.
