We're 19 games into the season and our record is 12-7.

Let's do the math.

Remaining Games
Conference 10
Bracketbust 1
MVC Tourney at least 1 (hopefully 3)
Post Season at least 1 (NIT probable, hopefully NCAA.....and as I said before the season started, I don't think we should accept an invite to the CIT or CBI)

The Eternal Optimist (which I wish was my screenname on this site) says YES, we will reach the 20 plateau.

8-5 the rest of the season sounds very easy to attain so I say yes if you are counting only 1 game in each of the post season .

I say no - I said 17 games to seart the season and I think we are a .500 ball club over the next 10.

Losses will include

Wichta State X 2
Creighton x 1
Evansville x 1
Bradley x 1

I'm talking prior to post season - wins in conference tourney and so on not counted in win total as that is an un predictable measure because you have no idea who you are playing.
 
With the entire team coming back for next year, we cannot turn down an offer to be in the CBI or CIT. We don't need to pay the money to host a game, but we need to play. It will only help us next season if we are in any post season tourney and can practice more and play more games.

Northern Iowa = W
@Wichita State =L
@Drake =W
Creighton = L
Southern Illinois = W
@Missouri State =W
@Bradley = W
Wichita State = L
Bracketbusters = W
Drake = W
@Evansville = W
This would put us at 20 wins the way I see it . I think we could win one of the games we should lose and possible lose one that we shouldnt . Either way 20 wins SHOULD be obtainable . I dont think we would will go to St Louis and lay an egg either . But anything is possible .
 
I don't like counting post-season stuff.

Through the end of the conference - No.
Including Bracketbuster - Yes.
Including Post-Season - Certainly.

I don't care who the competition is. 4-1 on the road is highly unlikely.

I don't see wins @ Drake, UE, Bradley or Mizzou St....sorry, but the ROAD ain't that easy.
 
If we can't win at Ill. State or SIU, I don't see us winning at Bradley AND Evansville. Maybe one, but not both unless we really improve our road game efforts.
 
The UNI game will tell a lot IMHO. We stand a very good chance of 20 wins with a W on Saturday. If UNI gives us an L (should not happen) 20 wins before AM is very unlikely.

I don't like our chances at 20 but I am still happy if we get close.I predicted 16 before the season so anything above that is great.
