Any ideas on how to improve this team besides better pitching depth? Or is that the main thing that held this years team back?
Pitching does have to improve. If everyone returns and they get fully healthy, pitching should be improved next year. The only caveat is will some of the young big arms we have coming in next year hold up?.....we shall see. Where we have to improve is hitting with RISP. Losing Beck is going to sting, but hopefully Roell can step up and fill that void. Hopefully guys improve with situational hitting in the offseason and a couple of the new guys contribute right away.

UIC goes 0-2 in their regional
Not surprising, as the MVC was dreadful this year. We would have been lucky to win 1 game in a regional ourselves. Hoping for improvement next season. Lots of folks think we improved this season....I'm not sold. Having said that, I am giving Arch another year. I like our recruits but we need more improvement from returner. Hope we get it.
