That streak should have stopped against us. He ended up with 105 yards on 23 carries, but he only got that because he had a 15-20 yard run on WKU's last drive of the game.
 
MTSU gave Purdue a scare earlier this year and WKU only lost 14-3 to Kentucky. If WKU can put a few Ws up this year that game could carry some weight for us come tournament selection time.

Some thought process I had, the better they do the rest of the way, the better for us.

EXACTLY. Frankly, I have been rooting for them ever since we whooped them. After suffering thru our streak, I have been very sensitive to teams with streaks of their own. That victory over WKU meant a ton to Indiana State. I guess I am just showing some compassion because that W made our season so much more of a story.
