much like football, the ISU women's soccer, volleyball, and softball teams are gonna be picked to probably finish last or pretty close to it, until they can prove they can compete w/ the other MVC teams. Which is hopefully soon!

I'm not concerned much with where they are in the pre-season polls as where they end up. With all of the new players on the soccer roster, let's hope they have talent that the rest of the league does not realize.
For volleyball, I think they will probably be picked last and have a real shot at finishing there. They have been really struggling the last couple of years, so I don't expect a quick fix with Coach Dahl - it will take time.
Softball has a chance to be pretty good this year if Wood is healthy in the circle. Her redshirt last year really set them back. She is as good as any pitcher in the league when healthy.
