That is a crazy number. I believe up until a few weeks ago, no one in the history of the MVC has gone sub 13. Ever. She has done it like 4 times now. Crazy

She just qualified for the NCAA Championship finals tonight, qualifying with a time of 12.78(9?) in the semis. I believe she’ll race Saturday
Yup, She'll race Saturday night for a Natty.
She had the 5th fastest time in the prelims. She'll be in the thick of it during the race but unfortunately there is a girl for Oregon that is just on another level (she was in Rachel's prelim race) and racing on her home track. You never know in hurdles but realistically Rachel could finish as runner-up if everyone runs their best races; which is a great feat in it of itself.
We always have really good track athletes but it's been a handful of years since we've had one of this caliber. I believe the last person to show up on the national stage was Erin Reese in 2019 finishing runner-up in the hammer throw. Good luck Rachel!
