Five games into conference play and we already have as many total wins as we did last season. That's something to be happy about. Let's finish well above .500.

It looks like it's going to be a fun conference season for the Sycamores! Wouldn't it be nice to win out?

It would be really nice, but it also shouldn't even be mentioned with this team or any other. To think that a team is going to go on the road and win every game in the Valley from here out is silly. However if so, it would be the most FANTASTIC thing ever to happen to this program in my life time. It would also mean that Jake Kelly would have the opportunity to become eligible for a medical red shirt because I think we would be dancing if we win out. However let this be the END of the win out conversation, we will be lucky to pull out a W on Wednesday.

And I concur it would indeed be nice, but it would also be nice if the Pack or Cardinals would play defense as the Pack tie the score at 45 up... Man the first team to play D wins! lol

Something special happens down there in Arizona when Kurt Warner gets the ball in his hands.....Gotta love him....
 
Winning out with 13 games remaining would be difficult for any team in the country...any.

How about a more realistic 9-4 to finish it out...that would give us 20 wins on the season.

And that would be impressive, you figure we might steal one maybe 2 on the road and you also have to figure in the 7 home games we have left that we might loose 1 or 2 of those games. I think if the Sycamores finish with 18 wins that they will have had a VERY good season, from 11 wins to 18 that's a significant jump. All you have to do is play .500 ball from here out to win 18 games - in that case we would finish 4th or 5th in the Valley I would think.

Actually we would need to finish 7-6 in our last 13 so just above .500 - I really think that's doable!

If the wheels don't fall off (which has happened a lot for ISU in February), we could end up with NIT-worthy numbers.
