Hammond Bishop Noll is the only undefeated team (26-0) of the eight that will play for a state championship on Saturday. The Warriors are also one of the most unique, with four potential Division I players spread though all four classes. Adonis Filer, a 6-3 senior and transfer from Mount Carmel in Chicago, is a 6-3 senior with offers – according to Hammond Noll coach Drew Trost – from Evansville, Indiana State, Western Kentucky and Valparaiso. Recently, Baylor, Nebraska and Oregon State have all shown interest.

I am going to try and get out to get film of his game Saturday VS. Park Tudor (Yogi Ferrell amongst a handful of others)

After first quartet and I would love to have this kid! Quickest and most athletic player on court. Is all over Yogi Ferrell. Looks like a shut down defender. Gets inside at will. Jump shot maybe only question. He's got 10 after 1.

I knew Purdue was full for '12 but didn't know about '11. I thought Butler had a good bunch coming in.
This Filer does look good, though.

Guess he was kicked out of Mt. Carmel high school for stealing money from a consession stand. Anyone know if we still have an offer out there and who he is looking at?

Listened to this game on the radio. Filer sounded very promising as a prospect. It sounds like he was playing the 2/3 spot. He ended up with 19 points and 7 boards and would have had like 25 or more if some of his layups fell.

The broadcast team on 1070 said he had Dwyane Wade-like hangtime.

Dwayne Wade????? I think not. Closer to Aaron Carter than Dwayne Wade.

I saw no comparison to Aaron Carter. He's not the shooter Carter is but hes quicker, more athletic, a better penetrator, and a PG. He's obviously not in the same atmosphere as Wade but I can see that comparison.

The comparison was for "hang time." I didn't see anything to compare to Dwayne Wade. I thought he was a mid-major+ athlete. But TV can be deceptive. He might have looked much better in person. I don't want to discredit the announcers. But Dwayne Wade?

Yogi is comparing him to Teague in the paper. I must have been dead wrong. Sorry. I will see him at the top 60; guess I can't get a complete appreciation of players unless I see them in person.

The biggie though for Filer is he just isn't a good shooter so that really pigeon holes him into being a point guard at the next level. He couldn't be a 2 since he can't shoot and a 6-foot-3 small forward would be bad. He really needs to lock himself in a gym and work on the stroke.

And he had 0 assists yesterday.
