Dont like that he says decision is coming "very soon".... Only school of the three he visited was Evansville right? Must of been fooled by the new arena into thinking they will ever be anything more than a 6th place MVC team.

Come on D.J. ISU is where you want to be! I know we'd like to have you! You'll look GREAT in royal blue!!!

If he has only visited one out of the three schools in his top 3, and then right after visiting that one school he says he will make his decision I can't imagine him going somewhere other than E-Ville. Otherwise why not go on your official visits at Mo. State and ISU?

Has retweeted SycamorePride as well as several current and future ISU players and ISU sports reporters stating his decision is tomorrow. I'm Hoping.

I've talked to guys who have played against him, and I have heard he's reallly good. But don't we need a big in this class to go with Bell and Smith, as we try to replace Myles with only Kitchell?

Backer, I don't think so what? Why don't we need a big then for what reason? Please advise. thanks!

This was discussed in another thread, so this is a repeat, but i'll be glad to give my opinion.

1) We are losing Lathan, Printy and Richard and lost AC. I think we should take another shooter now if we can get a good one.

2) After Walker is gone, we will have Kitchell (so) RJ (jr) and Gant (?) that are capable of playing the 5 if we don't sign another one next year. And that could possibly be a Juco if needed.

3) If Kitchell is good enough then we have a scenario that he will get 25+min and Gant needs 25+ minutes. We have some combo forwards and they all cannot play the 3. So we will have some 3-4 combos that we need to get on the floor. I'm talking about KD, R Smith, Arop, Bell.

Bottom line is I think we are well stocked at the 3-4-5. If we end up without a true center, then I'm comfortable using Gant or RJ. I love mobility and versatility, and I don't think we have to have a 6'9" post guy.
If we were in the Big East or Big Ten, then we would need a couple of good 6'9" or 6'10" guys, but we go decades without having a true, post-up, back-to-the-basket, defensive, 6'9" center. That's the nature of being a mid-major.

And I love shooters.

We need a guard in this class who can shoot more than a big. Think about it we will have nobody on the team next season who is lights out from 3 other than RJ and he is a big. You have to have at least one guard who can stroke it to keep the d from clogging the lane.

Anyways back to DJ. This is the one guy I want more than any of the others in this class so lets hope he makes the right choice cuz I really dont want to see him twice a year if he doesnt. This kid is heavily underrated. Come on DJ join the family!!!!!
