I have seen the kid a few times but he's a great leader, everyone seems to think that playing with the Chavis bros has made him better but from what i have seen it's the opposite

I think it's obvious by the number of 2012 PG offers that they plan on getting a guy they really want there. I saw him at the Top 60 as well and he didn't really play like a PG there. The Evansville board liked him, too, but he seemed like a USI guy in seeing him myself.

Jalen Packer told me that he will likely either go the prep school or junior college route although newly named Missouri State coach Paul Lusk did call him recently. He didn't list any prep schools, but named John Logan and Hutchinson as the junior colleges he is looking at right now.

Sparks said Packer would like to play for the Warriors, then hopefully find a nearby Division I school to transfer to, such as the University of Evansville, Indiana State or Eastern Illinois.

So technically, he'll be a 2013 kid.

I can't believe that he signed for WIU in Macomb...what a life of desolation out on the prairie. He must've had one helluva "visit." In '72, my fraternity had our regional caucus ("Ox Bow") in Macomb. Talk about some kinky coeds...but then again, what else can ya do out in the Land of Oz?

I think that Packer made a good choice of returning to WVCC. It's a stone's throw away from home (Princeton), which means a lot in the re-adaptive phase of life.

Simmons/UE will be on him like flies on...well, you know about life in the Summer cow pasture!
